Okay, so if you're questioning the odd title of this journal, it's cause I work for Walgreens 'The pharmacy America trusts', and I'm the cosmetics department.

I'm really excited to say that my new store will be open for business in just a few short days!! All the Walgreens crew has been working so hard to bring the place together, and we've managed to get ahead of schedule! Cosmetics is absolutely stunning to look at!! I have a lovely 'halo' over my counter that advertises the department, I have a glass fragrance case, and a glass fragrance tower too!!!! Omg, it's spectacular!! Photo, Pharmacy, and of course, the registers are looking quite well too, but who would want to leave the department they love the best, lol!! We've also been setting up for Christmas as of today.

Everything is just coming along so smoothly, and I'm enjoying being a leader for once too, lol!! Everyone comes to me if they need anything, and I'm not even SBA (senior beauty adviser)!! I'm just a BA, lol!! Also despite the endless horror stories about our new store manager.. I really like her so far! We got one of my favorite managers, and I'm talking another one into transferring if I can, lol!! I like people who know how to have fun, AND get a ton done. Everything has just been so nice.. I get to work in jeans instead of the usual W apparel, and I get the pleasure of saying 'I'm sorry, we're closed' to anyone who dares come to the door, lol!! Great stuff..

Walgreens really is the place for me. Thriving on only the best of customer service, a friendly atmosphere, and wonderful coworkers, I don't know of a better place to work. If I can easily say I still love my job after 2 years & 3 months, I'd say it's gotta be good!!

Just gotta contain myself and my excitement until the 12, and then we'll be good. Opening day is gonna be a blast!! I am SO ready for customers, PMs (promotional money), and no time for standing around waiting for something to do!!
